The infamous CNN Center is located in downtown Atlanta (next to Centennial Olympic Park) and is the headquarters for the CNN news network and Turner Broadcasting. There are number of CNN shows broadcast from the CNN Center, including Headline News, Talkback Live and more.
However, the CNN Center complex is much more than that. The CNN Center also features shopping and entertainment, in the form of an exciting tour of the complex. In addition to other shops, there are great souvenir stores for both CNN and Turner Broadcasting, where shoppers and fans of the network can pick up memorabilia for movies of Turner Broadcasting and their favorite CNN shows as well.
The CNN Center became the headquarters for the network in 1987. The famed Omni Hotel, a large hotel with an established history with the city of Atlanta, anchors the CNN Center. The Omni Hotels at the CNN Center features some of the city’s finest, upscale dining at the Prime Meridian, where you are sure to see a network personality. The CNN Center is also connected to the Philips Arena, home to Atlanta’s NBA team, the Atlanta Hawks.
CNN Center
The CNN Center is a 1.5 million square, 14-story complex that also features more than a dozen fine retailers, a large food court and more. The CNN Center is composed of two towers that boast an atrium escalator, used for the CNN network tour, which was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. Finally, CNN is broadcast on large television screens throughout the CNN Center.
